I’ll come by for a walkthrough
I’ll look at the surfaces, see what prep is needed and talk through the finish you want. For smaller jobs, a video call may be enough.

You get a written quote
The quote covers the surfaces, prep, paint, number of coats and timeline, with one clear price. The price only changes if we agree to change the scope in writing.
What affects the price
- The condition of the surfaces and the prep required
- The size, ceiling height, and amount of trim, doors and ceilings included
- The number of coats and the colour change. Going from dark to light may require more coats
- The paint quality and sheen selected
- Access, including second-storey exteriors, stairwells and tall ceilings

Things people ask
Why don’t you list prices?
A price without seeing the job would only be a guess, and a guess can cost either of us. The walkthrough is free, and the written quote gives you the actual price.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no obligation and no pressure. If the timing or price is not right for you, just let me know.
Who actually does the work?
I do. If a job needs a second set of hands, I bring in someone I have worked with before. I remain responsible for the job.
Do you do small repairs too?
That’s the Plus. I can often take care of small fixes while I’m painting, such as drywall patches, caulking or loose trim. Painting is the main service, and some minor repairs may be included as a courtesy.
How do you protect my floors and furniture?
I use drop cloths on floors, cover furniture that stays in the room and mask anything that isn’t being painted. I keep the work area clean throughout the job.
Can I get a quote from photos?
For small jobs, often yes. Send a few photos and the approximate size. For larger jobs, exteriors and cabinets, I usually need to see the space in person before providing a quote.
